The final grade that students earn each quarter is a reflection of the material that they have mastered, the growth they have shown, and the effort they have put into your work. The following percentages indicate the weight of each graded category:
o 10% of your grade will come from Homework. You are expected to do all assigned homework as some will be collected and graded for accuracy. Graded assignments are not announced as it is expected that you are submitting your best work at all times.
5% of their grade will come for our Daily Practice, 6 math computation questions that they complete each day.
o 25% of your grade will come from Class Work.
o 20% of your grade will come from Quizzes.
o 35% of your grade will come from Tests. These are given at the end of a unit.They may be retaken if:
At the end of each quarter you will receive two numerical scores on your report card for each of your classes regarding your conduct and effort.
Conduct means your behavior choices.
Effort means your willingness to give your best sustained attempt.
